Join us on the afternoon of the Fall Equinox to connect deeply to the Earth, and celebrate her abundance with heartfelt offerings and prayers of gratitude.
The Fall Equinox is an auspicious time, when the light of day and dark of night are in balance, and the Earth is offering up her sweetest fruits, squash, and grains. Our gratitude to Mother Earth opens the way for a more contemplative time as we move into autumn and eventually winter.
We’ll begin the ceremony in a tipi in the forest for a time of grounding and connecting to the embrace and heartbeat of the Earth. Then we’ll move to a sacred circle deep in the forest, to offer our prayers and create a mandala of offerings of flowers, fruits, nuts, seeds, and healing herbs.
We invite all participants to bring items from your garden (or the supermarket) that represent something special to you, along with some heartfelt words of thanks to Mother Earth. Feel free to share a poem or song too if you wish. Our intention is to hold a space of deep gratitude and reverence, and communicate this to our beloved Earth. All offerings will remain in the forest.
